Demolition permit in place

I got to meet Mark Rosaldo in the town hall in Randolph today. He is the zoning administrator. Picked up the demolition permit and put it on display.

Such a tough decision to demolish but seems necessary. I'm grateful for your stewardship of this iconic place, the heart of the Cooley family for decades. Congrats on this great work.

Thank you Shawn. It is tough, I have such mixed feelings. Ultimately I am hoping the end product feels like the original. And I’m hoping relatives will be comfortable visiting, feeling like they are going to Gramp’s house. ❤️

We may start at the end of February! I’m both really sad and excited. It’s a weird experience to feel both but I’m hoping that ultimately it will be really gratifying to have recreated (as much as possible) the old place.

Yes...so great! I am simultaneously sad and excited (but more excited than sad).
